Access Independence is committed to making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities

With the onset of winter, we have been making a push to assist those who find themselves on the streets during this winter season. The ability to stay warm during these frigid months can truly mean the difference between life and death. To this end we are looking to raise funds to purchase at least 100 coats. These are not just ordinary coats though, these coats turn into sleeping bags, thus providing a warm coat during the day and a warm sleeping bag during the evening. The company Empowerment that produces the coats is committed to making a difference and has made a global impact. The cost of each coat is $150, any amount you can give will make a difference and may very well save a life.
